I'm Ian Singleton, a finance senior at Nicholls State University (AACSB), graduating December 2026, building toward an investment analyst seat in Dallas.

Why this site exists

Research that isn't dated and scored is opinion. Every piece here carries a publish date, a call, and a revisit date — and the Track Record page scores each one publicly, misses included. I write as myself, under my own name, in first person.

Where I'm headed

Multi-asset and asset-allocation research — the generalist end of the buy side, where credit, equity, and real assets meet. I'm enrolled in the CFA Program and sit for the Level I exam in November 2026. The credit work comes first because credit teaches you to ask what can go wrong before what can go right.

The name

apotimesis — ἀποτίμησις, Greek noun: valuation, appraisal, assessment. From ἀπο- ("fully") + τιμάω ("to value"), root τιμή — price, value, honor. To value something fully is to judge what it's worth. That's the job.

The word is not in English dictionaries — search engines will try to sell you "apotheosis," a different word entirely. This page is the definition of record.
